I couldn’t leave this post without adding in a little video as an example. It’s so difficult to choose my favourite, there are so many, so I posted the first one that struck me as I wanted to get posted before tickets run out.
It’s a while since I wrote a ‘proper’ post. That’s because I have been on holiday – yay!!!
I don’t get to go on holiday so much these days, for various reasons. My last holiday was over 2 years ago. Due to health challenges, it can be physically difficult, not to mention the budgetary requirements. So when I received some offers to visit friends and family in Spain, I appreciated and gratefully accepted the invitations.
I hired a car. For the amount I travel these days, buses and taxis as I needed them would probably have been more cost-effective, and the buses in Spain are very reliable, comfortable and inexpensive, although the bus-stops can be a fair distance to walk to. So I figured the convenience of having a car at my disposal, even for short journeys to the shops and the beach, as I can’t walk very far without pain, would make my holiday more pleasant as I would be less likely to overdo things and end up wasting a week or more of my 3-week holiday in bed in pain.
The first week of my holiday was in Torrox. It was lovely to spend time with my cousin, who had moved out to Spain about 8 years ago, shortly after I had taken her there on holiday. The weather was bright and sunny, but quite windy, which made it too chilly for sun-bathing. In bed at night, I could hear the Mediterranean ocean lapping against the shore, so soothing.
Then I moved on to Almunecar, where I stayed with my Swedish friend, Marianne, who I had met about 6 years ago whilst visiting a friend who was care-taking the villa next door to her and her husband Luis. We had got along so well, we remained friends and kept in touch, despite the generation gap. Marianne is 70 years of age, however you would not think it to see how she looks after her fruit garden and walks down her big hill into town to shop almost every day. This was my 3rd visit to Marianne since our first meeting, and the first time Luis would be absent. Sadly, Luis had passed away in December. Luis was Spanish. His wonderful flamenco guitar-playing and singing was sadly missed.
Luis had often talked about his favourite restaurant, El Capricho, in the village of Otivar, where they make a dish called Pollo a la Manzana (chicken cooked with apple), which he described as ‘the best chicken in the world’. Although Otivar is not far from Almunecar, it is inland along some hilly, winding tracks, and the buses to and from there are few and far between, so a visit by car would be easier. I didn’t get the chance to go there while Luis was alive, as he and Marianne do not own a car in Spain, so I felt it would be a fitting tribute to take Marianne there on this visit.
I asked Marianne if she could call to make a reservation, as was recommended on their website. I felt my Spanish language skills were a bit rusty. She said there was no need: a reservation is only necessary for large parties. When we got there, however, the Spanish waiter told Marianne we needed to make a reservation in advance to order the chicken, they had no extras available. I gave Marianne a mischievous smile, but before we had chance to be disappointed, a lady came out from the kitchen and told the waiter that the party of 27 coming in had just called to cancel one place. Haha this was so funny: whether it was my intention that I was going to have that chicken, or Marianne’s assurance that we didn’t need to order it, either way by the Law of Attraction (or perhaps with the divine help of Angel Luis) we did get our chicken. As there was only one portion we had to share it, however that was plenty for the two of us; Marianne said that when they had a portion each, they would take half home in a doggy-bag. Indeed it was the juiciest, most succulent, tasty chicken I ever had. We raised a toast to Luis and followed the chicken with Creme Caramel and a cafe con leche. Bless you Luis!
Marianne took me to some of the best tapas bars in Almunecar. Tapas vary from place to place. In Nerja, for example, you usually need to sit at the bar with your drink and you choose which tapa you would like from the tapas cabinet along the bar. In Almunecar, however, you can even sit outside with your drink and they bring a tapa to you automatically, for free, without your asking. You never know what you will get, it could be anything from a dish of deep-fried baby octopus to a ham and cheese toasted sandwich or mini cheeseburger. I have rarely been disappointed with the quality of tapas. I have wondered how the Spanish make enough profits to survive when they provide you with a glass of wine or beer and some delicious food for less than 2 euros; I am certain it is their innate generosity that ensures they always have enough.
As we sat at a tapas bar on the beach, I glanced down towards my feet (actually I think I was trying to shelter my phone underneath the table so I could see the screen to use the camera), and I spotted a little stone shaped like a heart. Two of my favourite things are to look for hearts every day, and also to look for pretty little beach pebbles to bring back from Spain (I have quite a collection now). I consider hearts to be my little messages from the angels saying ‘We’re with you, we love you, you’re OK’.
Then on my fifth and final evening at Marianne’s she went to a dish of pebbles in her conservatory and pulled out a purple ceramic heart and gave it to me, to end a lovely visit.
The following day I moved onto the next, and supposed to be final, leg of my visit to Spain. This was where things went drastically awry. After a somewhat pleasant day, suddenly, in the evening, without warning, one of my hosts (I don’t feel any identification is appropriate or necessary here) began verbally attacking me over something so trivial: my attempt to get the wifi working on my little netbook appeared to be affecting the TV reception. I shut down my computer, but in the minute it took for it to shut down their irritation had escalated into a rage. My attempt to defuse the matter by saying I couldn’t shut it down any quicker and was this really any reason to get so angry, did not work and they said they didn’t want me there anyway. At which point I did the human thing and became upset and angry myself and began arguing back. Not that I wanted to stay – I don’t want to stay anywhere I don’t feel comfortable or welcome, but to try to understand why this argument was even happening. Realising this was not going to change or fix the situation – some people’s behaviour can not be understood, especially in the heat of the moment – I headed off to pack my bags.
His verbal onslaught was not a short-lived one. He continued to scream at me. In the 30 minutes or so it took me to pack, due to my shaking with shock and anger, and not able to close my case for some time without bouncing on it, I could hear him screaming at his partner, who was trying to defend me and telling him how unreasonable he was being. His answer to her was “If you don’t like it, you can get out too (although in much stronger language)”. When I came back down the stairs, he screamed at me again until I was out the door.
I loaded my suitcase into my car, and sat in the driver’s seat. At this point, I was struck with the shock of it all. I was in a foreign country, I didn’t know anywhere or anyone else in this town, I spoke little of the language, and it was after 11pm. The worst shock of all was that someone I liked and trusted had let me down like this. My body was immobilised for some time apart from the tears falling down my face …

This is just so simple, even an adult can play it 😀
We most often think of this as a children’s game, using it simply to teach the alphabet. But it’s a really good tool adults can use too, and of course please play it with your children; the earlier they can learn this fun version, the happier life they will have.
This game can move you from a ‘bleurgh’ frame of mind to a more positive one, an improved energy vibration, really quickly. Think of the most good-feeling words you can beginning with each letter of the alphabet, and really focus on the word and how it feeeeeeeels in your body. According to Abraham-Hicks, what you focus on for 68 seconds is on it’s way to you, and what can be better than the feeling of pure positive emotion.

You don’t have to think of just one word. You can stay on each letter for as long as you are coming up with words that move you into your good-feeling place. You can play it with family and friends. A great place to play it is if you’re stuck in traffic, as I always find if I stop myself getting frustrated and begin to think good thoughts, it’s amazing how quickly the traffic clears.
If you play it when you’re already feeling good, it helps you really milk that good feeling and adds momentum to the manifestation of amazing events.
You don’t even have to use real words if you prefer to make up your own, as long as they feel good and get you laughing. I played this game with my friend Heather, who uses gobbledygook as a way to distract her mind from negative thoughts, and for Q she came up with ‘Quiddly diddly quoromungous quantitude’. The important thing is to have FUN 😀

How do you activate the energy of abundance in your life? Especially when it can be quite hard to feel abundant.
As we know, wealth and abundance are created in your mindset before they appear in your wallet.
The thought of ‘I can’t afford that’ is a low energy vibration, and attracts more things that you can’t afford.
Here is a little game you can use to change your thoughts and mindset from one of ‘I can’t afford it’, to ‘I could have that if I want’.
Put £100 in your wallet or purse or pocket. Don’t worry if you have it earmarked for something else. You’re not going to spend it. If you don’t actually have £100, print out some pictures of the notes/bills, or buy some of those napkins or tissues you can get that look like money, they’re only a few pennies to buy if you can find them. The important thing is that you can ‘pretend’ they are real money that you can spend.
Go on a universal spending spree. Walk around the stores. Look at things you like and could buy with your £100, and just say to yourself things like ‘I can have that’, ‘I could buy that’, ‘That will look great on me’, ‘I can afford that’, ‘I have the money to buy that’.
Get the feeeeeeeling of abundance, that you could buy those things if you chose to. Even if you come home having not actually bought anything, you still have £100, but most of all you will feel better. You could have mentally ‘spent’ your £100 one hundred times, meaning you have spent £10,000 in one day. You will have moved your abundance mindset to a positive one of possibility rather than a negative one of lack, and you may quickly see evidence of your improved energy vibration, possibly in the form of an unexpected windfall. When you do see some evidence, remember to say ‘Thank you universe’ and relish the feeling of gratitude to keep that vibration active.
First, I’ll need to explain what Law of Attraction is and how it works. You see, the Law of Attraction states that you’ll attract to your life whatever you give your attention, energy and focus to, whether wanted or unwanted – emphasis on the unwanted. The “vibes” that you put out (also called vibrations) are either negative vibes or positive vibes, and at every moment, the Law of Attraction is responding to the vibes you are offering by giving you more of the same, whether wanted or unwanted.
If you are curious about what it is that you are offering vibrationally in any area of your life, you simply need to take a look at that area and see what you’re getting… it’s a perfect match. Mentally take a brief inventory of different relationships that you have in your life. For some people, there is a mixture of the kinds of people they have in their lives; some who support and uplift them, and others who are negative. So why do you attract negative people?
In both of these cases, you’re already experiencing the Law of Attraction. As you enjoy and appreciate certain people in your life, in that moment, you are offering positive vibrations. The Law of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating whatever needs to happen to bring you more of the same. And as you notice and pay attention to the negative people in your life and the things that irritate you about them, you’ll see the Law of Attraction unfold to bring you more of the same. By shifting your focus and attention to what you do want, then you’ll change the results accordingly.
Want to know how to attract your ideal mate? Build a list of all the things you didn’t like about your current or last mate/partner. This list, we’ll call “contrast,” will help you understand. For example, if your list of negative things about ‘past mates’ includes someone that doesn’t take you to dinner, spend time with you, doesn’t uplift you, or spends too much time away travelling, now you’ll be able to see why you’re attracting this. Your list makes it clear, remembering that whatever you place your attention to, you’ll get more of it.
The Law of Attraction can only bring to you what you give your attention, energy and focus to, so change what you’re focusing your attention on by asking yourself, ‘What do I want?’ When you catch yourself thinking or saying what you don’t want, in that very moment, state what you do want. The words and the vibration will change. Remember, you can only hold one vibration at a time, so make it a good one!
In the example above, if we were to ask, “What do you want?” after each of those negative statements, our new list would bring us clarity about our ideal mate and would sound like: “My ideal mate takes me to dinner often, spends ample time with me, uplifts me, and spends a pleasing amount of time at home.” Can you feel the difference? It’s this feeling, or “vibe” that the Law of Attraction is responding to. Make sense? Go ahead and try it. Shift your attention to what you do want and know in that moment the Law of Attraction is responding to your vibration. The results will astonish you.
Placing your attention, energy and focus on the negative aspects of some people in your life brings you more of the same. Simply put, that’s the Law of Attraction at work. When you shift your attention to the kinds of people you DO want in your life, that shift, coupled with your clear desire to STOP attracting negative people into your life, will set the energy in motion for new results to show up. When you shift from what you don’t want, to what you do want, your vibration changes. And know this – you can only hold one vibration at a time! The Law of Attraction is always matching your vibration in any given moment.
The Law of Attraction can be used to ensure that you are always in vibrational harmony with the people you are attracting into your life. If you plot your vibration on a scale that measures from 1-100, with 100 being the highest calibration, you are currently attracting other people into your life that match your score on this scale. In other words, if your vibration measures 75 on this scale and a person in your life measures closely to that, you are a close vibrational match. It is also important to realize that if your vibration measures 30 on this scale, you are a close match to another person whose vibration is at 30.
Your feelings always tell you if you are in vibrational harmony with another person. When you meet someone who is offering a significantly lower vibration than yours, you often feel dragged down by that person, i.e. the experience just doesn’t feel good. On the other hand, when you are with someone who vibrates closely to your score, it feels good to be with them. You are in vibrational harmony with that person. Suppose you are the one with the much lower vibration. If you experience a person with a significantly higher vibration, you may feel uplifted and raise your vibe to match theirs, or you may feel uncomfortable being around them. In short, the distance between your score and the score of another person, equals the extent to which it doesn’t feel good. We call that resistance. The greater difference in the scores, the greater resistance there is.
Here’s a great tool to help you next time you experience a negative person in your life. While you are having a conversation with that person; perhaps listening to them describe (in great detail) what they don’t want and how negative their life is, ask them the following question: “So, what do you want? How would you like it to be different?” In their response, they will stop talking about what they don’t want, and start talking about what they do want. In that very moment, their vibration will shift and they’ll start raising their vibration to match yours.
Remember too, people treat you the way you allow them. In Law of Attraction, this means that you can set your vibrational boundaries so that you will only participate in and maintain positive conversations. Feeding into somebody’s negative conversation will bring your vibration down. Decide today to maintain your high vibration and stop feeding into other people’s negative vibes. This will go a long way to maintaining your high, positive vibration, which will in turn, attract other people with high, positive vibrations into your life.
You don’t have to participate in the same conversations or activities with people who you don’t feel good being around. If you do, you could feel your energy being dragged down. In any moment, you have a choice; you can stay and risk your energy being lowered, or you can simply walk away, or you can maintain your positive energy vibration and if they can’t handle it, they will walk away. You always have a choice. When you walk away, one of two things will happen: the other person will get the message that you feel uncomfortable, and they will either adjust their behaviour (but don’t rely on that), or they will simply stay away. Either way, you save your energy and you can feel thankful.
How can you visualize the goals that you have? There are techniques that move you deeper into your own inner power to see with greater clarity what you want to create.
Visualization is by far one of the most powerful tools for good setting and attracting what you want. Yet few people know how to properly visualize. With the right technique you can begin to see outstanding results in successfully attracting what you want, if you fully apply what you learn.
Firstly, you are visualizing all the time. You may not be aware of it but you are always conjuring up images in your mind. When you are speaking on the telephone to someone you are usually trying to see in your mind what they are telling you. You also visualize when you are deep in thought. When you are worrying about paying your debt or worrying about the way you would really like to live your life you are also visualizing. However, worrying is negatively directed visualization, as you are focusing more on lack.
The trick is to use that creative force to actually attract the things you want. This is where many people go terribly wrong.
Here is a great test to help you understand the most effective way to visualize. Think of the last time you were deep in thought. Now try to remember what that felt like. If you can recall that time, you will notice that you were deep inside of yourself. You were unaware of anyone or anything and as you were allowing yourself to visualize you could feel clearly that you were having the experience as if it were real. That is the power of visualization.
When people ask all the time, “How do I visualize the things I want?”, I tell them the same way you visualize the things that you don’t want. You see when you are feeling anxious and fearful you lock yourself away in your inner mind with those images. You lose sight of other possibilities and if it is something that happened to you, then you recreate it in its full detail with all your emotions all over again.
Try to immerse yourself with full emotions when you are trying to create the things you want. Many thoughts may come to distract you but if you will redirect your mind to what you do want your mind will be trained to hold that thought.
There are many tools and techniques that can greatly empower your ability to visualize if you really have a hard time. You can add extreme magnetism to any mental image you want to create as long as you apply the right technique.
My favourite technique is to create a vision board, and I have had much success with mine. I collect pictures of things I would like to achieve and attach them to a physical board, or copy and paste digital images onto a document then print it out to stick on my wall, somewhere I will see it often. Another option is to store images in a folder on the computer and set the screensaver to rotate the images whenever I am not using the computer. Then get into the place of ‘feeling’ how lovely life is when my visions have materialised.
UPDATE: Within a few short hours of my posting this, a lovely neighbour has knocked on my door and given me a car battery charger, as they know I have had some difficulty starting my car for a few weeks and they just ‘happened’ to find a spare one 😀
Manifesting takes a delicate balancing act. The law of attraction requires a look inside of yourself to gain more harmony with the universe. The moment you discover the steps everything flows faster and greater.
The whole idea of the law of attraction is to be a co-creator with God in manifesting the things that are closest to your heart. When you use the law of attraction in the right way you can experience manifesting your desires at a much faster rate than you ever would have had you not made the effort to use it correctly.
You can use the law of attraction to manifest faster results by taking the following steps.
1. Be Grateful Now
Gratitude can dramatically change your life but best of all it gets the law of attraction to give you more of what you are feeling grateful and happy for. When you are feeling frustrated and down the law of attraction gives you more reasons to feel down. You manifest more situations that make you feel unhappy. So as the first rule to manifesting faster results begin to see all the things in your present life that you are grateful for no matter how simple it is.
2. Speak of It
It may seem hypocritical at first when you learn of the law of attraction to speak of your desires as if they are already here. In reality all things are already created. The moment a thought is conceived you have brought it into your reality. The more you speak of that thought the stronger it becomes and the faster it moves into your state of being. Think of a child who becomes eager about the thing he or she wants. See how eager they are about it? They look up pictures about it, they speak about what they will do when they get it. They don’t worry about how or when it will come, they just know and above all they are excited about it. Speak with joy about what will come into your life because your words and thoughts about it feeds that creation and brings it to you faster.
3. Surround Yourself With The Things You Desire
You may be asking, how can I surround myself with the things that I want if I don’t have it? It may not be yours at the moment but you can borrow, you can visit, above all you can place yourself in the environment and among the people who are closely link to the things you desire. The successful application of the law of attraction depends on you already being in that energy of what you want. It is up to you to create the state that you want to attract and you do so by being among the things that you want until it is fully yours. The law of attraction will give you quite easily what you bring into your focus, whether you are speaking of it or observing it. You get more of what you surround yourself with.
4. Let Go!!!
Let go of what you want. Yes, let it go. Know that you desire to experience a particular thing but don’t hold on out of fear of doubt. The more you cling on to the needing or wanting feeling, the more disastrous your manifesting will be. You will only succeed in feeling more needy. Allow yourself to feel full and confident. Those who understand how the universe and the law of attraction work easily understand the power of their intention and don’t feel stress or needy. They create and know that the law of attraction is working for them and what they create will soon manifest. They create then let go and move into the state of receiving.
There is a great paradox that comes with letting go because a very large part of manifesting requires that you give a lot of focus to your desire but there is a delicate balancing act of focus without feeling needy or being clingy.
5. Learn to Receive
To activate the law of attraction you must move into the state of receiving. This is something most people struggle with. Many people say that they want certain things but few people know how to receive those things that they are asking for. Most people feel doubtful or unworthy about what they want. Deep within they feel that they do not deserve nor will they get what they are asking for. Those tiny feeling of unworthiness are giant blocks in the manifesting process and can only serve in destroying what you are hoping to attract. The law of attraction is a science that takes you deep into your inner nature and allows you to see where you are feeling disconnected as a co-creator with God and the universe. Become worthy and allow yourself to receive. For example, if somebody offers to buy your coffee, instead of saying “No it’s ok, I’ll get it”, get used to saying “Thank you very much, that’s really kind of you”, and connect with the feeling of gratitude within you.
6. Become Worthy Now
Become worthy by recognizing that you can manifest anything that you want because you are Gods and Goddesses and what you desire is only a tiny speck in the universe. You deserve to manifest what you want because when you are rich you influence those around you in positive ways. When you use the law of attraction to manifest a better life you are in the flow and in a better state of adding value to the world. The faster you can feel worthy of what you desire to manifest the faster it will come.
One of the biggest blocks in manifesting is the feeling of unworthiness that most people feel. God wants you to have, the universe is great enough and there is more than enough for you and everyone else. You are worthy!.
7. Give What You Desire Most
You may not have all the money in the world for yourself but you do have something of value and that thing which is of value to you may be in scarce supply to someone else. Give to others and you will be stunned and amazed by how fast the law of attraction will manifest abundance in your life.
There is a natural flow in the universe and in order to manifest more you must also be in the flow of giving. Give to others as long as you do not give more of yourself. There are many flawed concepts of giving more than you have, this is very faulty. Give only what you can, never ever deplete yourself. Give what makes you feel happy to give. Give with love on a regular basis but also be aware of conserving your own and the law of attraction will bless you by bringing to you much more than you give. As you give you will get and you will manifest much more than you could ever have imagined and much faster too.
